Substitute Teacher
Canadian-born daughter of Adoline (Eisner) Fischer, German refugee from Ukraine following Bolshevik Revolution who survived Communist repatriation and years living in refugee camps and wandering with her widowed mother and 5 siblings in Germany following her escape from Ukraine on foot, sometimes within earshot of the Russian/German front; Grand-daughter of German farmer, Reinhold Eisner, seized by Communists for being a Capitalist and never seen by his family again; Great-granddaughter of Wanda (1st married name Qwast) Priebe, German owner of land in German Colony in Ukraine who survived labor camps on the Volga River, who was evicted from the camp yet found her way across the Steppe in the middle of a Russian winter and returned to remarry another German farmer in Ukraine, both of whom were forced to dig their own graves and shot by the Russian army in Czechoslavakia; Granddaughter of another German colony landowner (Eisner), who was forced to go to a labor camp in Northern Russia on the Baltic Sea near the Arctic Circle, and never seen by her descendants again.
