Profile Information
- Please describe your involvement in Holocaust education.
- I am a Holocaust survivor from Poland, and have published a memoir of my experiences which I use in teaching. I create art on the Holocaust (two large exhibits thus far) and use it for teaching. I have just written (together with Gigi Lincoln) an art book for teaching the Holocaust in schools. I have given lectures at Universities and high schools on the role of resistance during the Holocaust as well as on the plight of Jewish children during those years. I have published two articles in Prism as well and another in Medical Humanity Reviews on my experiences.
I am a Professor Emeritus from the University of Texas Medical Branch. I am now retired and spend my time writing books and creating art on the Holocaust.
