Dr. Eric Gritsch: Martin Luther, antisemtism and the last freedom

Perhaps this is not the place for such a posting, but as a pastor whose life and way of thinking and being were profoundly affected by a person, and who I believe has much to say to the Christian community, to teachers, and to everyday folk who take their faith seriously and those who don't. Dr. Eric Gritsch was that voice which addressed religion, ignorance and hate. There has been and…See More

Profile Information

Please describe your involvement in Holocaust education.
In 1994 I asked Rabbi Alan Alpert if he would be interested in promoting a Service of Commemoration for the victims of the Shoah. Every year since we have planned a commemoration and education event for the community. We have formed the Shoah Remembrance Committee of Muskegon; have added a year long community based program called The Journey for Grade 8 students; have planned an adult enrichment class with Muskegon Community College. We are presently engaged with the college to create a Center for Holocaust and Genocide Study.

Welcome, Chris! Thank you for signing on to the Ning and including a photo. It will be good to continue the conversations that began back in August when we all first got together in La Crosse.

Great to hear from you Chris. I am on Spring Break this week. Plan to go back to Israel this summer for at least a month...maybe doing 3 weeks as a volunteer again in the IDF. There is a grad seminar from June 28 to July 8...I am signed up for if the Poland trip I lead with students does not go...the economy is affecting the number of students...if I have enough to go then I will pull out of the Yad Vashem seminar as they overlap! Ephgraim is holding a spot for me until I know.

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you,but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( jamespollard.it@yahoo.com ) for the full details.Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.
