- Please describe your involvement in Holocaust education.
- In 1994 I asked Rabbi Alan Alpert if he would be interested in promoting a Service of Commemoration for the victims of the Shoah. Every year since we have planned a commemoration and education event for the community. We have formed the Shoah Remembrance Committee of Muskegon; have added a year long community based program called The Journey for Grade 8 students; have planned an adult enrichment class with Muskegon Community College. We are presently engaged with the college to create a Center for Holocaust and Genocide Study.
